Such swirled posture. and forward gesture. bent
to serenade. a leaner, howl. a stooper, sultry.
In a hindleg stand. the one who hibernates, out late.
the one who shuffles, strips. the koala dance as
burlesque performance. the fence rooster a tease. all
claws, no hustle. Easy, like a garter snake. beneath
the grass, the sensual slither. In the ground, the wormy
flirt. single nestles. a lowly snail imploring. a rapt
rake. the gopher mopping their brow. the woodchuck
digging, flossy. Even the calico proffers a calfy leg. Even
the slug is crooning. low light moon. sassy breeze.
Summer stutters what winter kicks. the red squirrel
vulnerable. licking the back of plastic, hither. the fur
on that rat. the pit bull showing off. that healthy ass.
